I am a PhD Candidate in the Applied Economics Department at Oregon State University. I hold dual Master of Science (MSc) degrees in Economics and Data Science from South Dakota State University. My current research primarily addresses topics in regional development, focusing on how economic activities are spatially organized. Specifically, I examine the mechanisms through which economic policies and natural disasters influence the spatial distribution of economic activities across different geographic regions.
My Job Market Paper (JMP) explores the implications of Oregon’s tiered minimum wage policy, investigating how this policy influences the spatial distribution of workers and consequently affects firm behavior and performance.
I will be on the job market starting in the Fall of 2025.
